About Jamila Naturals
Jamila Naturals was created out of necessity. I needed safe and natural alternatives to take care of my family. I began to create what I called at the time all-natural concoctions for whatever issues my family was dealing with. The concoctions worked! Other family and friends outside of my household began to inquire about my natural solutions, and later Jamila Naturals was born. I chose Jamila Naturals as the name because Jamila means beautiful, which is a perfect description of nature and her bounty.
Birth of Itchy Boob Balm
I, too, experienced this issue, which I affectionately call the itchy boob. It started with an itch and a smell that developed into an uncomfortable rash under my breasts. I was bewildered, as I had never heard anyone else discuss this. With no clear solutions from friends or family, I turned to what I do best—research.
My journey began with showering immediately after workouts and buying new bras, neither of which seemed to help. Powders and over-the-counter ointments only made things worse. Through relentless research, I discovered that a combination of factors, including heat, moisture, and friction, could contribute to this discomfort. Instead of relying on store-bought creams, I decided to create my own solution using essential oils. To my delight, it worked! The discomfort subsided, and the skin began to feel more at ease.
Seeing the effectiveness of my concoction, I began sharing it with my inner circle and discovered how widespread this issue was among women. Encouraged by their positive feedback, I decided to bring my soothing salve to the market. Thus, Itchy Boob Balm by Jamila Naturals was born.
